New Feature: LOMLOE Integrated into the Platform (Spanish Education System)

We have great news for all schools and teachers in Spain! ColabEdu has completed the full mapping of the LOMLOE education law for Secondary and Baccalaureate education, enabling 100% automated and rigorous competency-based assessment.

The Competency Challenge of LOMLOE

LOMLOE introduced a competency-based paradigm (Key Competencies, Specific Competencies, Basic Knowledge, and Assessment Criteria). Manually documenting and cross-referencing these matrices for each activity is one of the main causes of current teacher exhaustion (burnout).

The Technological Solution in ColabEdu

Our Pedagogical Intelligence engine solves this by structuring the governmental curriculum directly into our C0 to C3 layers.

  • Automatic Knowledge Mapping (C0): We store the official structure of the Spanish Ministry of Education in our regional taxonomy YAML files. When creating an “Assignment”, the teacher selects the Basic Knowledge, and the system automatically links the Specific Competencies and Assessment Criteria.

  • Design of Learning Situations (C1): The exercise creation assistant now facilitates the generation of complete “Learning Situations”. Widgets in the App’s frontend adapt the user experience to collect the necessary evidence for these situations.

  • Traceable Assessment (C3): The AI correction of essays, audios, and debates returns a structured json (OAS Report) where each comment is algorithmically cross-referenced with a LOMLOE Assessment Criterion, ensuring that the grade is legally defensible for educational inspection.
